Ben qualified at Bristol University in 1988 and spent almost 7 years as a Dentist in the Royal Navy serving in the most part alongside the Royal Marines where he was awarded the much coveted Green Beret. On leaving the RN he took time out to sail around the World in the BT Global Challenge and then returned to Dentistry to undertake an MSc in Periodontology (gums) at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London in 1999. Ben has owned a Dental Practice in Exeter and taken Periodontal Referrals from all over the South West for the past 15 years. His current practice Life Dental & Wellbeing is health focused. This holistic approach has encouraged an interest in the treatment of snoring and sleep apnoea and the positive effects that it has on the health of his patients.
