Why Do We Dream?
People would want to know why we dream. There is information about how sleep works and the common activities during sleep. A number of theories have been put forward.
I. Dreams act as therapy whereby it helps individuals to face and deal with emotional experiences.
II. Dreams allow us to become creative. Dreams are thought to help people to think in imaginative ways or even come up with brand new ideas.
III. Dreams help to perfect dealing with threats. It is thought than dreams help in practicing the fight and flight responses even though we remain in bed.
IV. Dream help in practicing a skill especially those that require extra concentration.
