Ways to Sleep Better

lavenderAs many as 20% of adults suffer from mild sleep apnoea and seasonal affective disorder often caused by disruptions in the body’s circadian rhythm. A disrupted circadian rhythm leads to disordered sleep patterns. A number of adjustments to your sleep routine will lead to better sleep quality.

A lavender scented diffuser proves to be the latest trick to for a deep sleep to those who have tried it out. Its scent contains sedative properties that include a decreased blood pressure and heart rate. A study by the Wesleyan University has found that women who have tried this trick have had a slow-wave sleep that is more restorative than those who have not.
