Study Shows that Bedtime Regularity Predicts CPAP Compliance

Regularity of bedtime in adults with obstructive sleep apnoea is indicative of treatment compliance with CPAP therapy according to a study. Compliance which is described as four and more hours of treatment every night was predicted by bedtime variability. An increase of one unit in pre-treatment bedtime variability increased one month CPAP non-adherence by 3.7 times.
