Sleep Apnoea Poses Risk of Complications for Pregnant Women

Obstructive sleep apnoea has become a big problem across all ages and for both genders. OSA has been found to be particularly serious for pregnant women. Research conducted at the University of South Florida has found that pregnant women who have been diagnosed with OSA are five times more likely to die in the hospital during and immediately after pregnancy.
