Sleep Apnoea with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Raises Risk of Prediabetes, Say Researchers

Sleep apnoea is a frequent comorbidity with polycystic ovary synsdrome (PCOS) according to a study done by David Ehrmann, a professor of medicine at the University of Chicago. They have found that this comorbidity predisposes the risk for metabolic disorders such as prediabetes. Early screening for the two conditions is advised for type 2 diabetes female patients.
