Sleep Apnoea plus Dim Light at Night Increases Depression, Anxiety in Mice

A recent research undertaken by scientists at the Ohio State University Wexner medical center indicates that the 12 million American suffering from sleep apnoea should sleep in a very dark room.

The study done with mice showed that sleep apnoea combined with exposure to dim light increased the incidence of depression and anxiety. Dr. Ulysses Magalang says that both sleep apnoea and depression are seen in patients even though the correlation has not been described.
