Sleep Apnoea Linked to Higher Risk of Death
An 18 year observational study named the Wisconsin Sleep Cohort has found that sleep apnoea is associated with a very high risk of death. According to the study, adults between the ages of 30 and 60 years with sleep apnoea were two or three times more likely to die. Severity of sleep apnoea was linked to the risk of death.
