Sleep Apnoea Has Been Associated With High Blood Sugar Levels, Reveals Study Published In The European Respiratory Journal.

Research undertaken with a multinational European Sleep Apnoea Cohort worked with 5,294 participants. The findings of the study aimed to better understand blood sugar levels found that people with sleep apnoea have high levels of HbA1c which is associated with the average plasma glucose concentration. All the study subjects were non-diabetic to find the effects of sleep apnoea.
