Researchers Develop New Screening Tool to Help Diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnoea in Children

Researchers at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario have developed a screening tool which helps to diagnose obstructive sleep apnoea in children. The researchers have developed reference ranges to track and measure neck circumference as indicator of OSA in children between the ages of 6 and 17 years. It is a quick and reliable way to identify children at high risk of OSA.
