The Relationship between Depressive Symptoms and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea in Pediatric Populations: A Meta-Analysis

A meta-analysis has been done to assess the relationship between the incidence of depressive disorders and symptoms and obstructive sleep apnoea in children. It has been found that depressive symptoms were more likely to be seen in children with OSA. The treatment of OSA in children through adenotonsillectomy will promote better sleep patterns, improve overall health, and decrease the depressive symptoms.
