Prevent Stroke by Addressing Sleep Apnoea Effectively

Atrial fibrillation is one of the main risk factors for stroke and accounts for 15-20 percent of strokes in America according to the American Heart Association. Many studies over the past few years have indicated a strong correlation between obstructive sleep apnoea and atrial fibrillation. The study reveals that OSA patients have a high risk of atrial fibrillation and they also have the risk of atrial fibrillation reverting in the scenario OSA is untreated.
