PAP Therapy Improves Depressive Symptoms in Sleep Apnoea Patients

A study of 779 obstructive sleep apnoea patients sought to assess depression and depressive symptoms which are associated with sleep apnoea. The study was designed to use PHQ-9 forms and scores. The study found that positive airway pressure vastly improves the symptoms of depression especially if the devices are used for at least four hours.
