New Findings Showing WTC First Responders are at Higher Risk for Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and PTSD

Researchers are linking the exposure to high amounts of inhaled particulate matter by first responders working at ground zero to the incidence of both obstructive sleep apnoea and post-traumatic stress disorders. The same exposure to the levels of particular trauma also leads to the development of heart disorders. The researchers worked with the first responders during the 9/11 tragedy.
