Are your kids healthy? If they snore, they may not be. Snoring in kids may be a sign of sleep apnoea, a condition marked by breathing pauses during sleep. Snoring can have a profound effect on a child’s sleep. Once it affects sleep, a child's behavior, attention, cognitive development and IQ are then affected. Over time sleep apnoea can also be dangerous for the heart and lungs. About one in five young snorers has apnoea.
