Insufficient sleep is a public health epidemic, according to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. A growing body of research shows that sleep deprivation is bad for your health. Insufficient sleep has been linked to developing chronic diseases including diabetes, heart disease, obesity and depression. Among adults with sleep disorders, by far the most common is obstructive sleep apnoea. The following is a story about a man who is battling with obstructive sleep apnoea.
