How to sleep better if you’re stressed
Stressful situation can leave an individual worrying all night long without much needed sleep. There are a number of ways through which an individual can deal with stress and help them fall asleep.
a. Being mindful: relaxation strategies such as meditation, deep breathing and yoga will improve sleep quality.
b. Stay away from electronic and digital devices which emit blue light that affects sleep.
c. A hot shower or bath is relaxing and will promote sleep.
d. Chamomile tea is known to lower anxiety and initiate sleep.
e. Exercise is a good way to relieve stress. It should be completed earlier in the day three hour before bedtime.
