Oversleeping also called hypersomnia is a sleep disorder that is characterized by a constant need for sleep and a disrupted sleep cycle. People suffering from hypersomnia experience memory loss, extremely low energy, and anxiety. Oversleeping is associated with problems such as headaches, increased mortality, obesity, back pain, heart disease, diabetes, and depression.
