Health Risks Posed by Snoring
Snoring poses serious health risks and impacts on a person’s health and life expectancy. It has been shown that snoring will also increase the risk of a stroke. The co-relation between snoring and increased risk of a stroke is especially true in cases of patients who suffer from daytime sleepiness and those whose breathing stops during the night. People whose snoring has been caused by sleep apnoea have a 40% increased risk of early death. With all these health problems, people suffering from snoring and sleep apnoea need to seek treatment early enough to enable them lead a normal life.
