Half the Children Who Snore Have ADHD
A new study undertaken by the University of Adelaide in Australia has indicated that many of the children that suffer from sleep disorders such as chronic snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactiviy Disorder (ADHD).
According to Dr Vandana Katyal, an author of the study, about one in ten of Australian children suffer from sleep disorders. Additionally, more than 50 percent of the children suffering from sleep apnoea and chronic snoring have ADHD.
