This Is the Easiest Way to Get Better Sleep

no sleepA new study has revealed that meditating will improve sleep for the people above the age of 55 years who cannot fall asleep and get sufficient sleep. The study was published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine intending to establish the efficacy and effectiveness of the mindful awareness practices.

For purposes of the study, a total of forty nine men and women with an average age of sixty six were recruited. The group was composed of people suffering from poor sleep and who didn’t have a diagnosed sleep disorder. The researchers evaluated sleep quality at the end of the session and found that they scored higher in better sleep quality.  Further improvements were noted in areas like anxiety, depression, insomnia symptoms, stress and fatigue.
