The Difference between a Man and Woman’s Sleep
Men and women are quite different in the manner that they sleep. The differences in how men and women sleep are more evident in the amount of sleep required and the challenges to sleep faced by either gender. Women will face numerous challenges in their attempts to get a good night’s sleep when compared to men.
Women generally require about twenty more minutes of sleep than what men require. Men have a high risk of suffering from sleep apnoea although women will experience more sleep problems. Fifteen percent of women report that they experience sleep problems compared to only eight percent of men.
