Craniofacial Growth Direction and Snoring Helped by Oral Appliance Therapy

A research undertaken and presented to the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine shows that the use of oral appliances for a period of six months among children with enlarged tonsils and adenoids improves craniofacial growth and widening of pharyngeal dimensions. The results have been hailed as important in the improvement of breathing and snoring during sleep.
