Childhood Night Terrors May Indicate Sleep Apnoea

Is your child having night terrors regularly? A new study shows that night terrors among children may be a sign that they have sleep apnoea.

Sleep apnoea, a condition in which the sufferer’s breathing stops for periods of time while sleeping, and is usually accompanied by snoring. This condition has a lot of serious health consequences.

In this new study, researchers found that snoring is associated with insomnia, mood disturbances, frequent leg movements during sleep, daytime sleepiness and night terrors.
