Apnoea Surgery Reduces Behavioral Problems in Kids

Researchers at the Boston Children’s Hospital have through a clinical trial come to the conclusion that surgery to remove adenoids and tonsils reduces sleep problems and behavior problems in children.

Surgery in children between the ages of 5 and 9 eliminates symptoms such as irritability, hyperactivity and sleepiness. The study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
