American College of Physicians Release New Recommendations for Treating Obstructive Sleep Apnoea

The new recommendations published by the American College of Physicians (ACP) in the Annals of Internal Medicine, their flagship journal, are aimed at obstructive sleep apnoea patients. The use of CPAP therapy as the initial form of treatment is emphasised. Other recommendations are the management of body weight and use of Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD) as an alternative form of therapy.
