Sleep and metabolism are intricately linked hence the loss of sleep has been shown to cause weight gain. By aiming and focusing on weight loss through diet and exercise, an individual will eventually find that you are able to sleep better.

Obesity and being overweight are mostly associated with obstructive sleep apnoea. Sleep apnoea is caused by the collapse of tissues around the upper airway effectively blocking airflow. Start weight loss by measuring your weight to help monitor changes, avoiding junk food, eating more vegetables and fruits, and exercising at least every day.
